Travelling with a pet dog is increasingly common and Noosa is a furry friendly destination with several beaches allowing dogs.

While dogs are not allowed at the official, patrolled bathing areas, our Noosa accommodation is in proximity to dog-friendly areas.

Castaways and Marcus Beaches

Castaways and Marcus Beaches form part of our Noosa eastern beaches and are dog-friendly with off-leash provisions all day long. You and you pup will love the endless kms of golden sand of these pristine beaches.

Sunshine Beach – northern end

The very northern end of Sunshine Beach (towards the Noosa National Park) is also an off-leash, dog-friendly area (although the Noosa National Park is not).

Noosa Spit

The Noosa spit at the mouth of the Noosa River is dog friendly on the river side of Claude Batten Drive. The nearby ‘Doggy Beach’ on the river is much loved by locales as one of Noosa’s best-known pet-friendly locations. Both are off leash.

Peregian Beach

The southern end of Peregian Beach is puppy friendly if they stay on a lead.
