Park Crescent is one of Sunshine Beach’s sought after locations, situated minutes from the Village centre and with lofty views out over the ocean and direct access to the patrolled beach from most properties.
No. 40 sits on the beachside of the street and has been completely refurbished, exuding an effortlessly casual but chic Hamptons style throughout. The house is inviting and comfortable with soft muted tones that blend seamlessly with the sky and ocean beyond the elevated balconies.
Sleeping up to 9 guests across 4 bedrooms this split level house offers lots of space for everyone to spread out and relax, which is what Sunshine Beach holidays are all about.
You enter the house through the open-plan living area where you will find two lounge areas, one with a 55″ SmartTV, Apple TV and surround sound system. The second living area features additional couches and a dining table to sit 8. The kitchen is fully equipped with brand new appliances and breakfast bar. There are two portable bluetooth speakers available for guest use as well as a selection of board games. This area is air-conditioned.
The main living area opens out onto a large wraparound balcony with outdoor seating and an extendable dining table for 10. There is an additional high table and chairs outside the kitchen area as well as a BBQ. The views from here are amazing and are a great place from which to spot migrating whales and enjoy early morning sunrises over the ocean.
There is a small WC on the middle level and a spacious laundry with separate washer and drier. In addition there is an outdoor drying area, complete with outdoor shower and surfboard storage area, that is accessed from the lower level of the house.
Descending the stairs to the lower level of the house you’ll find three bedrooms, a bathroom with walk-in shower, and separate toilet. Bedroom 1 features a double bunk (sleeps 3 in total), bedroom 2 has two single beds, while the 3rd bedroom has a Queen bed. All rooms have ceiling fans (no air-conditioning). Bedrooms 2 and 3 flow out onto their own private balconies, and bedroom 2 has louvred shutters which allow the cool evening breezes to circulate around the lower level.
Ascending back up past the first level and onto the top level of the house is where you’ll find the private master suite. Featuring a King bed, 55″ SmartTV, spacious en suite with over-bath shower, huge dressing room, and its own private terrace, this is the perfect place to retreat to at the end of the day or to enjoy your early morning coffee on (made on the in-house coffee machine). This room has both a ceiling fan and air-conditioning.
The house has timber flooring throughout and lots of natural light from the many windows that allow you to enjoy the ocean views from just about every room in the house. There is car parking for 2 cars in the driveway, with an additional 2 spaces available in the double garage that has remote access.
Although there is no pool at this property, you are literally a two minute walk to the beach via your own private access path through the large fenced back garden area. Sunshine Beach Village is also a two minute walk from the house, where you’ll find a good selection of cafes, restaurants and bars, including the family-friendly Surf Club.
Please note that due to the split level nature of this property there are a number of stairs within it – there is no lift or wheelchair access.
